According to Gary Karrass, "Negotiation is a process in which individuals use to obtain something and involves nonviolent communication between two or more parties that have conflicting common interests to reach an agreement, meeting the goals of one or both parties."

To ensure participating students gain the full experience, they will receive a scenario and represent a client, disputing against an opposing team. The objective being to achieve the best deal for their client by forming an agreement between the two parties.

We thoroughly encourage all Law students to get involved in the Negotiation Competition, to obtain knowledge about confidentiality and develop their negotiation skills.
